I ordered this product because we had gotten new floors in our bedroom, and our older, cheaper bed frame had supports that looked like they were going to scuff or damage the floor. The Queen Deluxe Inst-a-matic bedrails cost a little more than some of the other Queen sized bed frames, but I think the extra support rail across the middle, and 9 feet provide for a more sturdy, and quieter night's sleep.The bed frame is pretty easy to assemble, but is best done with a helping hand. The feet (or glides) as they are called fit together in 3 pieces. The metal frame then sits on top of the glides, the glides do not latch into place. So if you try and pick up the frame, the glides either remain on the floor, or fall off rather quickly. This isn't a frame you can pick up and move yourself, unless you are a magician at lining up all the glides again when you go to set it down.Once put together, this is one sturdy bed. The pieces all connect in grooves, so as more weight is applied, the more snug they fit together. Squeaking is non existent. It took a little effort to attach the head and foot boards, but that was due to poor design of those pieces, not the bed frame. The frame has ample slots for connecting a head board and foot board.Aside from the glides falling off if you pick up the bed, the only complaint I have is with the store who sold the bed frame to us, Home and Living. Our bed came without 1 piece to put together the last of the 9 feet (glides). So far I have contacted them 5 times to try and get them to send me a replacement part. 2 times they said the part was on its way and it didn't arrive so I had to call back each time to try again. When I did get the replacement, it was for the wrong bed frame. I am still awaiting a replacement. Ordered Oct 2011, As of Feb 2011, still waiting for the last glide.The product is good, but the delivery, and sales, were poor. It's been over 90 days, so I can't leave feedback at Home and Living, convenient.
