Product Description
Garrett center leg bed frame support is a must for all beds with wooden slats. This easy-to-install leg eliminates sagging by supporting the center of the bed. The leg adjusts vertically from 6" to 16", using the provided extender. Packaged with center leg support, extender, screws and instructions. Only 1 support included (image shows 2 additional supports as example only).

High quality and tough.. ill order two more soon.. a bit pricey but its worth it.. purchased this because the original support that came with my bed frame were of poor quality and broke when the bed slid accross the floor. but this center led is made from steel and it gets the job done..aint nothing breaking this thing.

The center base for my bed a got from my mom was lost in the move. This, although not exactly like the original worked very well. I ordered two because there were pre-driven holes in the original support boards, but my brother-in-law (who installed them for me) said one would have probably been enough, especially since its on a guest bed. He put them both on and said they were easy to install and well made. He also liked that they came with an additional piece for higher beds, that I didn't needed, but the piece apparently is good to have.

Won't work on metal slats unless you can modify it. It is designed to work on wood, which it would do nicely.
